Privacy
Effective
This policy explains what information notices handles and why.
Information we handle
We handle the owner email address and authentication information needed to secure an account; the business name and permanent board address selected by the owner; and the notices the owner publishes. We may also process ordinary technical information such as IP addresses, device details, request logs, and authentication events for security and reliability.
Public notice boards
Business names, board addresses, notice titles, notice text, and publication or update times are public. Do not publish personal, confidential, or sensitive information. We ask search engines not to index boards and notices by default, but we cannot guarantee how third parties store or share public pages.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate owners, deliver account emails, publish requested content, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and understand whether the product is useful.
Product analytics
On the notices marketing, signup, and owner pages, we use a random first-party journey identifier stored in your browser for up to 180 days. We record when a journey reaches important product steps, broad device class, referral host, campaign parameters included in the page address, and short technical error codes. If you create an account, the journey is linked to that account so we can understand where signup succeeds or stops. We do not put form contents, passwords, notice text, raw network addresses, or full user-agent strings in these funnel records.
For public board and notice visits, notices separately derives a keyed, one-way daily visit value on the server from the network address supplied by Cloudflare, the board address, and the UTC day. We store only that derived value—not the raw network address, user agent, or referrer. It cannot correlate a visitor across boards or days.
Service providers
Notices uses service providers to operate the product, including Cloudflare for hosting and network services, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Resend for account email delivery. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention
We retain account and board information while it is needed to operate the service. First-party funnel events and daily-deduplicated product visits are normally deleted after 180 days. Deleting a notice removes its published content, while a limited tombstone record is retained so its permanent URL is never reassigned. Security, backup, and legal records may remain for a limited period where necessary.
Your choices
You can edit or delete notices from the owner dashboard. Contact the operator to request access, correction, or deletion of account information, subject to records that must be retained for security or legal reasons.
